I started my career in social media during my career as a Journalism Adviser. It wasn’t difficult to see that if your newspaper wasn’t online, it wasn’t existing. After I left the teaching field, I immersed myself in social media management and marketing for a photo specialty store in Omaha, Nebraska. From there, I began assisting other businesses to grow on social media through strategy, education, and content development.
Now, I help small businesses and entrepreneurs learn how to develop better content to grow their business. I’m an ideas person: I look at your business, your products, your mission-vision-values, your audiences–and I coach you on generating content that will encourage customers to interact with the stories your business wants to share. With podcasting, product photography, and video, I teach you to tell better stories.
Staying ahead of the curve is vital. I continue to stay on top of technology, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), content marketing, and technical communication because I’m a “forever learner”.
